Chiropractic Care in Kingston upon Thames
GCC-registered chiropractic care that gets to the root cause of your pain. Using precise spinal adjustments, joint mobilisation, and soft tissue techniques, we restore your body's natural alignment and ability to heal itself.
What is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic is a regulated, evidence-based healthcare profession focused on diagnosing and treating disorders of the musculoskeletal system — particularly the spine. In the UK, all chiropractors must be registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), which regulates the profession and protects patients.
At Kingston Chiropractic & Wellness Centre, Kelly uses a whole-body, nervous-system-focused approach. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we identify areas of dysfunction in your spine and joints that may be affecting your nervous system — and use precise techniques to restore normal function.
Chiropractic care may include spinal adjustments (high-velocity, low-amplitude thrusts), joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitative advice. A typical course of care for acute conditions is 4–8 sessions; chronic conditions may benefit from ongoing wellness care.
GCC Registration
Kelly is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (No: 04793). Registered chiropractors are trained to degree level and must maintain annual CPD.

Chiropractic is a regulated healthcare profession focused on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those involving the spine. Chiropractors use hands-on techniques — including spinal adjustments, mobilisations, and soft tissue work — to restore normal function, relieve pain, and support the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Chiropractic adjustments are generally very safe when performed by a registered practitioner. All chiropractors at Kingston Chiropractic are registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), which regulates the profession in the UK. We conduct a thorough health assessment before any care begins to ensure it is appropriate for you.
Chiropractic care is effective for a wide range of conditions including back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, shoulder pain, hip pain, sports injuries, and postural problems. We also offer nervous system assessment and posture correction as part of our holistic approach to wellness.
No — you can self-refer directly to Kingston Chiropractic without a GP referral. Simply book your initial consultation online or call us on 020 8549 5409.
The number of sessions varies depending on your condition, its severity, and how long you have had it. At your initial consultation, Kelly will assess your condition thoroughly and give you a clear care plan with an estimated course length. Many acute conditions improve within 4–6 sessions; chronic conditions may require ongoing care.
Most patients find chiropractic adjustments comfortable and often immediately relieving. You may hear a clicking or popping sound — this is simply gas being released from the joint and is completely normal. After treatment, some patients experience mild soreness for 24–48 hours, similar to post-exercise soreness. This is normal and usually resolves quickly.
